With the help of Kristen Kalp of Brand Camp, I went through an exercise last week to create my very own manifesto. A manifesto is “a written statement declaring publicly the intentions, motives, or views of its issuer” (thanks, Merriam-Webster!).
So these are my motives, views, and intentions. They’re what I believe is important, while I build my business and create a future that will eventually help to support my family.
The Allison Patel Photography Manifesto:
To me, life is full of joy and laughter and love, and feels like wrapping up in a blanket fresh from the dryer.
I capture priceless moments for people who cherish genuine images of life.
I believe in the quality of the client experience, from beginning to end.
I believe that memories should hang on the wall, not on the desktop.
I aim for a client experience that is easy, fun and unforgettable, by valuing open, honest communication and feedback.
