It’s hard to believe that the year is nearly a quarter over already. It’s Spring, finally, but the last two months have gone by in a blur of injury and illness in our house. With the toddler going to daycare, we’ve been sick more often than not. A couple of weeks ago, I totaled my car on a patch of black ice (I’m fine), and have been dealing with the insurance company. A stomach thing managed to pass through last week as well, which laid me out for a full 24 hours and was sandwiched between a sinus infection and a cold. So if you’ve missed me around here lately, this is why I’ve been largely absent.
But today is a new day, and tomorrow is the literal start to a new season. I’m feeling optimistic for where life will go and the new opportunities Spring may bring.
One of those Spring opportunities is coming up soon – I am once again going to be exhibiting at the Nurture Birth & Baby Fair! This year’s event is Saturday, April 6, 10am – 3pm at the Science Museum of Virginia. I’ll be there with some old favorite products, as well as a couple of new surprises. It’s free, and there’s lots of good freebies and great raffles available (I may just have a raffle submission too) that will make the trip to the Science Museum on a beautiful (I’m assuming) Spring Saturday totally worth it. Whether you’re expecting, a new parent, or an experienced parent who may want to see what’s new in birth and baby life, the Birth and Baby Fair is a good time for all.
As a bonus, if you sign up for my monthly newsletter before Sunday, March 31, the April newsletter will have a special opportunity for anyone coming to the Birth and Baby Fair. Just sign up here and I’ll send you the opportunity in the April 1 newsletter!
